Cops Part 1

Now I know I promised a full researched article on cops killing innocent civilians but have you actually looked online for that info? Let me tell you when you start looking you will find it happens in every major city in the U.S. on an almost monthly basis. Its staggering how many people are killed by cops in this country. I'd almost be willing to bet if one was to add it up, it would be as high as the supposed numbers for second hand smoke or even DUI's .

Now Fox Macbeagh hates to say this but I was once a "Pig" and my opinion on all this is; I'll even quote it "Most of the cops of today are cowards, afraid to actually confront some one because its easier to just pull your gun and threaten to kill them if they don't do what you say".

And yes if your a cop and want to prove your brave I'll meet you where ever you want...

That said, I will have a researched article soon , tomorrow probably...it will be in parts though.. ..there is a lot to talk about...

Remember if you see a police officer "be nice"...they might shoot you....

Midnight Ramblings

Well its midnight, I'm listening to Lou Rawls and the night is good , the smooth sway of the jazz, the pitter-patter of the rain, the beer buzz I've adopted and given my full attention, and now the music has changed and the melancholy sounds of Mel Torme and suddenly as the music says my mood has changed to one of .......Oh well the song is done my mood is ....changed with the sounds of Michael Buble...and thats how it goes... is'nt jazz good ? If only life was as simple as jazz, no complications just the improvisational ramblings of a Jazz trio or quintet. No pull to and fro, no questioning of your beliefs ..just the simple enjoyment of pure art....and as Frankie Lane says..."I'm gonna live till I die..."

For your own Safety

I've spent many years fighting the "Forces of Evil" from Bullies in school to "All Enemies Foreign and Domestic" while in the military, I've even fought it out on the streets of America in places like Seattle (WTO), Los Angles (DNC) and West Palm Beach, Florida (2000 Election). But the one evil I can't stand is the erosion of our rights through the guise of public health and safety. Whether it be seatbelts, cigarettes or the latest trans fat it comes down to some one else taking away your freedom to choose your own destiny and the ability to live your own life.

Now don't get me wrong I'm not opposed to certain "common sense" rules like Traffic laws, sanitation regulations for food service and any other rule that is there for the safety of the whole society. What I am opposed to are the rules directed at the individual, the laws that tell you exactly how to live your life, the ones that tell you exactly what choices you can make, the laws that say your too stupid to make your own decision but most of all its when they make unscientific and hypocritical claims about the danger of a certain activity.

Such as.....now I said that there might be some controversy so here it comes.......

The law I disagree with the most is..anti-smoking laws..yes I said it anti-smoking laws.

Now let me make this quick disclaimer as an educated person with some knowledge of science and medicine I realize there is a risk with the long term and habitual inhalation of any type of smoke. So I'm not trying to say there is no reason to regulate the use of tobacco, in fact I do agree with a limited public smoking ban such as public buildings like city hall or the court house and especially the schools. But what I don't agree is the full out totalitarian public ban on smoking while the actual greatest enemy to our health and safety is allowed to go on practically unchecked.

And what is that danger?

Well after much research and I mean much I found the culprit "motor vehicles" . After going to countless sites concerning air quality I found that common theme was "motor vehicle exhaust" especially diesel exhaust. Now according to the anti smoking experts second hand smoke is the greatest threat, but on the list of top air pollutants you wont find cigarette smoke any where.

Now in an effort to find the truth I decided to go to the other side, the "smokers rights" groups and I found some interesting information. Such as there has been no link found between second hand smoke and lung cancer, that the World Health Organization(WHO) and the FDA lied about and tried to cover up the findings the research revealed and I also found out who has the most to gain, the drug companies making "smoking cessation products".

Now what does it all mean? Is it some sort of "Machiavellian" divide and conquer conspiracy? Could be...Or is it just simple human greed...I'm not sure yet....but I think we should know the truth and I mean the whole truth before we decide to take the rights of others away because we are told "we'll be safer if we do".

Welcome to the Noosphere

Well welcome to the thoughts, ideas, dreams and other workings of my mind and others who want to weigh in on a subject.

Now I guess the first question why "The Noos" ?

Well lets start with the full name Noospheric which comes from the word "Noosphere" which in my belief is the sphere of human conciousness that surrounds the world. It affects Us and we affect It. I could go on for awhile on this subject and I will later but for now back to the subject... "Why the Noos?"
Because I want this to be my thoughts and the thoughts of others, a discusion if you will. One that will hopefully lead to a better world for us and our kids (yes I have kids).So come back soon I just set this up today and need to research some things before I go out on any shaky limbs. So I will be back tomorrow with some interesting and probably controversial subject I want to discuss.
